Sept.28 – Mystical Liturgy of the Beloved ~
A sensually-charged liturgy filled with imagery from the
“Canticle of Canticles” that bespeaks the lover’s longing for the embraces of
the beloved. Middle-Eastern sacred music
enhances the celebration.

DEEKSHA Service ~ Wednesdays 7:30 pm. Cheryl Cross and Lisa Peterson offer Deeksha - a
transmission of divine energy which assists in the flowering of the Heart, God
realization and enlightenment. Inspirational readings from a diversity of
spiritual paths, sacred music, & meditation are included. A donation of $25 is requested but all offerings
are received with profound gratitude.

with the Gray Robe Benedictines You are invited to join the Benedictine community of
Santa Sophia Priory for a Vespers service that consists of chanting the psalms,
spiritual reading, sacred music, and a simplified Eucharistic liturgy.
Monday, September 8th - 7:30 pm. The Sanctum of the Blessed
Archangels Members of the Sanctum gather to
celebrate the powerful ritual known as “The Divine
Gathering of the Holy Archangels. The actual ritual is preceded by chanting of
the divine names and an angelic meditation. The public is invited to attend. A minimum
$10 offering is requested.

Scott Kalechstein in CONCERT
Scott's
evenings are dangerously and subversively improvised, with the audience
requesting songs about spirituality, personal growth, pet peeves, etc. Nobody
knows what will come out of his mouth next, including Scott. He has been
suspected of intoxicating his audiences with inert joy gases. People are warned
not to drive or operate heavy machinery after having been to a Kalechstein
performance. Those exposed to his music are often rendered completely unable to
control their laughter or hang on to their worries. Invite friends and neighbors. Tickets are $15 per person if purchased
before the night of the concert. $20 at the door.

an opportunity to spend an afternoon drumming, chanting, participating in
ceremony and in a walking meditation opening to the energies of Autumn at a
beautiful garden sanctuary known as

Sufi
devotee & local artist Joyce Carlson is a facilitator for the Dances of
Universal Peace. During this session Joyce teaches meditative chant and movement in the tradition of the desert
wisdom teachings of Mar Yeshua using the Aramaic version of the Lord’s Prayer. Learn
to chant the “Our Father” prayer in the Aramaic language that Jesus spoke. Cost:
$15
Monday, September 29th - 7:30 p.m. The octave of the autumn equinox
is brought to a close with the yearly observance of the feast of St. Michael
and all the Holy Archangels. Members of the Sanctum will enact the ritual of “The Assembly of the Angels of the Holy Grail” – a powerful ritual invoking the ten archangelic
rulers of the Tree of Life. Come and observe the feast day of All the Holy
Archangels at the Shrine! Invite family and friends to participate in this
annual celebration. A love offering is requested! _
