special retreat day of meditative practices including chanting, body prayer,
sacred dance, movement, and more in the desert wisdom of the sacred names and
phrases of power in the ancient Middle Eastern Goddess traditions. Move in
harmony with the deep feminine rhythms of Life.
Joyce is a local artist and facilitator for the Dances of Universal
Peace and has danced peace in dance circles worldwide. Joyce is a
sufi devotee traveling the path of Universal Sufism which is
dedicated to nurturing the awareness of the essence behind
all religious ideals and all of life. She is an initiated student
of Neil Douglas-Klotz who is a sufi murshid and author of Desert Wisdom,
Prayers of the Cosmos and The Hidden Gospel.
